Workforce shortages create opportunity for Santa to automate 5-axis production of more Santas.

It’s Christmas time and Santa is overwhelmed. So, what does he do? He turns to the manufacturing experts at HERMLE, OPEN MIND, and FRAISA to create more Santas. Together, the teams design, program, machine, and automate production of more Santas.

Using FRAISA tools, OPEN MIND’s innovative hyperMILL CAD/CAM solution, and HERMLE’s industry leading 5-axis machines with HEIDENHAIN controls, the teams manufacture the help that Santa desperately needs.

After reviewing the Santa demo piece, the real Santa is satisfied. Through a collaborative effort and with the best tools for the job, HERMLE, OPEN MIND, and FRAISA help Santa and save Christmas.
